One coin. Every hour.
You decide.
Elected is a memecoin launchpad run like an election. Unlimited coins can enter, but only one goes live each hour: the one the voters pick.
- 1Any time
Create
Anyone can put a coin on the ballot: name, ticker, image, pitch. 0.02 SOL deposit, refunded at 10 voters.
- 2:00 – :55
Vote
One vote per wallet per hour, 0.05 to 2 SOL. Weight is the square root of your SOL, times your scout multiplier.
- 3:55
Polls close
5 minutes before the hour, voting stops and totals are sealed so nobody can game the final count.
- 4:00
The result
Anyone can trigger settlement on-chain and earn a small reward. The coin with the most vote weight is elected.
- 5:00 +
Launch
The winner is created on pump.fun, open to everyone on every terminal. Winning voters' SOL buys in right after launch. Trade it here or anywhere.
Vote weight
Weight = √SOL × scout multiplier. More SOL counts for more, but less and less.
One whale with ◎ 2 gets weight 1.41. Ten friends with ◎ 0.2 each get 4.47. The crowd wins.
What it costs
Elected takes nothing from trades. Every coin that wins launches on pump.fun like any other.
- Create a coin
- 0.02 SOL deposit
- Dev buy (optional)
- up to 5 SOL
- Vote
- 0.05–2 SOL
- Trade
- No Elected fee
The creator of each elected coin also receives, in SOL, 50% of the platform token's trading fees from that hour. The live prize pool is on the homepage.
The rules
- Quorum
- If fewer than 25 wallets vote in an hour, nothing is elected. Everyone is refunded and every coin's votes roll into the next hour.
- Tie-break
- If two coins finish on exactly the same vote weight, the one that reached that total first wins. It's recorded on-chain, so anyone can check.
- Losing votes
- Refunded automatically, in full. You never lose SOL by backing a coin that doesn't win.
- Runner-up rollover
- The runner-up carries 25% of its vote count into the next hour. Its SOL is still refunded.
- Dev buy and lock
- Creators can add a dev buy of up to 5 SOL, bought in the same launch purchase as the winning voters, at the same price. They can choose to lock those tokens for 24, 48, 72 hours. Voters see the choice before they vote.
- Who can vote
- Wallets at least 7 days old holding 0.1 SOL. Creators, and wallets they funded in the last 7 days, can't vote for their own coin.
- One per hour
- Each wallet gets one vote and can create one coin per hour.
- Launch on pump.fun
- The elected coin is a normal pump.fun launch: same bonding curve, same graduation, tradeable on every terminal. Elected adds no trading fee.
- Settlement
- Anyone can call the settlement after the hour ends and earns 0.005 SOL. A backup bot does it too. The result never depends on our servers.
Questions
What happens to my SOL when I vote?
It's held in an on-chain escrow for the hour. If your coin wins, it buys the coin on pump.fun right after launch and the tokens go to your wallet. If it loses, or the hour misses quorum, it's refunded.
Why square-root voting?
So the hour can't simply be bought. Ten wallets putting in 0.2 SOL each outweigh one wallet putting in the 2 SOL maximum.
What's a scout score?
It tracks how your picks perform after launch. Good scouts get up to 2× vote weight and a place on the Top Scouts board.
Can the team change the result?
No. Settlement is deterministic and permissionless. The program counts the votes; anyone can trigger it and verify it.
When can I sell?
Right away. Once it's launched it's an ordinary pump.fun coin, so anyone can buy or sell, here or on any terminal.
What does the creator get?
A launch on pump.fun with the whole hour's attention behind it, their optional dev buy in first, and 50% of the platform token's trading fees from the hour they win.
Does Elected take a fee?
Not on trades. Creating a coin needs a small refundable deposit. pump.fun charges its own standard fees.
Is this financial advice?
No. Memecoins are extremely risky and most lose almost all their value. Only commit SOL you can afford to lose.
Which wallets work?
Phantom, Solflare and Backpack, on desktop and in their mobile apps.
